With 15 years of experience in the Real Estate industry, Rita Danielle Steele cofounded Geo Properties Inc. in 2008 & founded Steele Realty Consultants International in 2015.

While Rita’s personal interests and endeavors are wide ranging, her long-time passion for Providence’s historic properties has served as a primary focus, inspiring her to specialize in historic restoration and real estate design and development. Her most notable project to date was the conversion and restoration of the former Rumford Library in East Providence into a single family residence.

​

Steele currently serves as President of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors and Greater Providence Board of Realtors Boards of Directors and the Providence Special Commission to Study Affordable Housing, The Providence Preservation Society Planning and Architectural Review Committee, the Rhode Island Association of Realtors Executive Committee, and additionally serves as a RIAR RPAC Trustee and as the RPMIC representing Rhode Island at the National Association of Realtors.

Rita earned her Juris Doctorate from Roger Williams University School of Law, is a licensed attorney in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, and a registered General Contractor in Rhode Island.
